i am your story-teller at heart, who loves to document what is around me. i’ve always been one for listening to people’s stories. whether getting to know someone new at a local coffee shop and talking until the coffee gets cold, to late night chats on the couch, to everything in between. i’m kinda more of a listener than a talker. i’d rather sit back and hear you. it’s one of my favorite things. 

but with photography, it’s kinda different. when i’m sticking you in front of a camera and creating, in a way i’m the one telling the story. you’re giving me a story unique to only you, and i’m communicating it with a medium other than words. it can be worth a thousand words, but at the same time it can take the words away because you are so wrapped up in awe and emotion. and that’s exactly why i do what i do, and what i want to continue doing. i want my photos to make people feel things.

i love a lot of other things aside from photography - including but not limited to - taking walks, writing, reading, poetry, quality conversations, free shipping, the great outdoors, sustainable clothing, supporting local, coffee shops, music (if you need a bomb reception playlist, i got you covered), natural light, a craft beer and a damn gooood burger.
